Lewis Joss at your Christmas party
Lewis has a soft spot for Christmas. He was taught his first few tricks by his grandad at six, and after that every Christmas list had a magic box set on it. These days he's the one bringing the magic to other people's Christmas parties.
He's a member of The Magic Circle, which he first got involved with through its Youth Initiative when he was ten, and he's also a member of Equity. Along the way he's worked on TV with the late Paul Daniels and Debbie McGee, and performed for companies like Mercedes-Benz, Thomson Holidays and the Ministry of Defence. He's been booked everywhere from the Royal Air Force Club and Hyde Park in London to Malta.
His sweet spot is the formal Christmas do. He'll mingle with guests while the fizz and canapés go round, getting people talking who might not normally chat, then switch to table magic once everyone sits down for dinner. That's exactly what a client at Cranfield University booked him for at their end of year ball, and you can read what they thought below.
Expect quick, modern sleight of hand with plenty of energy rather than the same old card tricks. Good for a big ball, and just as good for a smaller team meal where you want something a bit special.
