Jamie Docherty

Jamie Docherty at your Christmas party

If your Christmas party crowd likes a laugh, Jamie's a cracking fit. He's a full member of The Magic Circle, but what people tend to remember is how funny he is. The magic is sharp, and the chat in between is half the fun.

Year after year he's back at the Royal Variety After Show Party, and he's worked a long list of big nights, from the England Rugby Team's briefing talk to Jamie Carragher's official retirement dinner. And he's seen in a new year at The Shard, so a New Year's Eve booking won't faze him one bit.

At a Christmas do he'll work close-up, moving between groups at the bar or round the tables between courses. That's handy at a company party where half the room doesn't know the other half. A few minutes of Jamie and suddenly accounts and the warehouse team are swapping theories about how he did it.

He's got well over ten years of performing behind him and he's easy to work with. One cricket club found him flexible and happy to fit around their plans for an end of season night. Worth knowing in December, when timings tend to shift on the night.
